The big booking sites take 15–20% from owners on every booking, then charge guests a service fee on top. That is a lot of Lake District money leaving the Lake District.
We thought there had to be a better way, so we built one. Owners pay once to list (or nothing at all, for the first hundred) and keep 100% of every booking. Guests message owners directly on WhatsApp. No algorithm decides who gets seen.
We're a small team who spend far too many weekends up here. We'd rather have fifty wonderful homes than five hundred average ones.

How does booking actually work?+
Found somewhere you like? Add your dates and hit Message the owner. We open WhatsApp with your enquiry filled in, and from there you're talking directly to the person who owns the place. Arrange the stay and payment however suits you both.
Do you charge booking fees?+
No. We don't charge guests anything. The price you see is what you pay the owner.
I own a property. How do I list it?+
Register as an owner, add your details and photos, and we'll review the listing within a working day. The first 100 listings are free forever; after that it's a one-off fee, never a commission.
Why no commission? What's the catch?+
There isn't one. We think the 15–20% commission model is broken. A flat listing fee means we're motivated to get you more bookings, not a bigger slice of each.

The whole Lake District National Park and its edges: Windermere, Keswick, Ambleside, Grasmere, Coniston, Ullswater, Hawkshead and the valleys between.
